The UK Bus Awards scheme was founded as the Bus Industry Awards in 1996, and rebranded in 2005. They are organised and run by The Bus Industry Awards Limited, a not-for-dividend company which works with a Management Committee of industry stakeholders to devise and mount the scheme, now in its 14th year. This year the Rt Hon Sadiq Khan MP, Minister for Transport, and the new Minister with responsibility for buses, will be welcomed as the keynote speaker.

Layhead Farm Holiday Cottages comprises an 18th Century farmhouse together with its stone barns, which have been carefully converted into comfortable, self catering holiday accommodation in the Yorkshire Dales and are of a very high standard.

Brocklands Woodland Burial - a privately-owned and run burial ground in the Yorkshire Dales providing environmentally friendly burials for people of all faiths. Offering completely natural burials, this means that, as far as possible, nothing artificial is put into or onto the ground, preserving and enhancing the ecology of the area.
