About us

Pat Hartley

Born the youngest of three in Keighley, West Yorkshire of Scottish parents. I have my father’s height and my mother’s tenacity.  We were brought up in a household where you had to be quick or someone would play a joke on you, so we learned at a very young age to have a good sense of humour. I’ve found that this is an invaluable characteristic when things don’t go quite right. I have a HNC in Business & Finance which I did at night school whilst working fulltime and I’ve taken various other part-time courses to continue my personal development. I strongly believe that you can never stop learning.  Outside of work I have a small menagerie of pets including dogs, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits,  quails and a beehive and I love gardening. This is my way of winding down after a hard day at the office.
